Web Site maintenance

Web sites have a tendency to grow, sometimes out of control. Over
time, people with good intentions and little experience may move files
around, delete pages without deleting links to them, or do any number of
things that make perfect sense in their world but not in the practice of
sound web design. The result can be a mess.
We can clean up all the untidiness that your web site has become and,
with a maintenance agreement, make sure that it will never happen again. For a
low hourly rate or a flat monthly fee, we will:
- Repair broken hyperlinks
- Update the information and graphics on your site
- Add new pages and archive outdated pages
- Edit existing content, when necessary
- Gradually optimize your site for search engines
- Submit your site to free online business directories
The cost of the maintenance contract will depend on the size and
complexity of your site, the amount
work required to keep it running, and the demands you place upon us.
However, the
bigger the contract, the better the hourly rate we can offer. Small contracts
are based on the rate of $50 an hour, with a 30% discount for non-profit
organizations. Our non-contract rate is $75 an hour.
With a monthly maintenance contract of four hours, we promise you at
least four hours labor, even when the site
needs little or no routine maintenance. In such a case, we guarantee we’ll fulfill the hours
of the contract by driving free traffic to your site,
submitting your site to online business directories, adding web pages to
enhance your content, optimizing
existing
pages, and improving site graphics.
