Graphic Gourd is a small but mighty design firm based in the bedroom community of Claremont, California, better known for upper middleclass retirement centers and liberal arts education.

We don’t offer at all things graphical — although our versatility might surprise you — nor can we provide the range of services available at some large design firms. But what we do, we do well, and with a fierce commitment to the welfare of our clients and the integrity of our projects.

Our projects have included:

  • Case studies, brochures, flyers, letterheads, business cards, and other collateral marketing material

Our specialty, if forced to declare one, remains high-traffic small business web site design. It goes without saying that the needs of a small business differ from the needs of a corporation, the most obvious instance of this being the size of the marketing budget. Most small business owners don’t have thousands of surplus dollars to purchase sponsored listings from Overture, or newspaper, television, and radio ads to drive traffic to a site.

An unvisited web site is like a brochure that never gets mailed: it looks great on the sales counter, but does little for your bottom line.
